Outdoor Classroom Day

This week we have enjoyed welcoming back our pupils after the break. As the country goes into Lockdown, Hemdean House goes outside! The children from Kindergarten to Year 6 spent the day learning outdoors and wow what a day we had. The children’s creativity and knowledge shone through the whole day. Gruffalo Hunt, den building and outdoor phonics kept the little ones busy while the older ones worked towards our Green Flag Award and Plastic Free School. Year 5 & 6 turned an area of the school into a conservation area scattering wildflower seeds and building wildlife homes. A great day all around. Forest School at Hemdean House is truly special.
