Year 5 and 6 were brilliant in planting 30 saplings in the forest this week. They are working hard on our sustainability plan for the forest area so that we can ensure our Forest remains a green and healthy habitat. Our resident robin sang his approval all lesson long – or was he just eyeing up the giant worms we were digging up?! The children worked hard to plant and protect, hawthorn, crabapple, dog rose and dogwood saplings. Now we have to hope they are not eaten by some of the bigger residents…
