We’ve achieved our Sun Safe Accreditation 🎉👏🏽

We are proud to announce that we have achieved our Sun Safe Accreditation! Mrs Illingworth has once again successfully guided our pupils through the Sun Safe Accreditation process! The whole school enjoyed lessons in Sun Safety while Years 3 and 4 participated in a Sun Safe Assembly to help to decide whether the sun is a Villain or Superhero. It seems to be both good and bad but by following a few simple steps everyone can be safe and healthy and enjoy the sunshine.  Our rules are:

• Make sure you use sun cream and apply it before coming to school;
• Wear a sun hat, preferably with a brim or legionnaire style;
• Keep delicate shoulders covered;
• Sit in the shade during the hottest time of the day,
• Wear sunglasses to protect eyes;
• Drink plenty of water.
