This week is Dyslexia Week. According to the British Dyslexia Association, people with dyslexia face many challenges yet feel unseen as it isn’t a visible condition. As a result, children and adults struggling with Dyslexia often feel out of place and unsupported. To raise awareness, the BDA will be focusing on different areas of Dyslexia throughout the week. This week, we held an assembly to help our pupils better understand the condition and show how we support children with Dyslexia. We’ve discussed how we can help if someone is struggling and shown that many people have gone on to do great things despite being dyslexic. If you or someone you know are struggling and need advice, contact the British Dyslexia Association.
