
This year Hemdean House School is celebrating 160 years since it was founded. This makes it one of the oldest schools in Berkshire. To mark such an important milestone, the school has been celebrating all year through community activities, reunions and events.

Hemdean House School Victorian Heritage Day - Sunday September 22nd, 2-5pm
On September 22nd, as part of the UK Heritage Open Days scheme, Hemdean House School will be opening its doors. This will be a unique opportunity to see a historic Victorian school which is still actively used by pupils today.

School Christmas Carol concert – date to be announced
To round off our special year, the school will be inviting all parents and alumni to the school's Christmas Carol Concert which will be held at St Peter’s Church in Caversham. All are welcome.
