Focus on Year 1 (w/c 05/10/20)

This week Year 1 have been working hard on their money skills. The class have been learning about money number sentences and learning how to use them when purchasing items in the fruit and vegetable shop they made. In English they have focused on creative adjectives to describe characters as part of their journey into story writing. The children have created a large crocodile with big sharp teeth using adjectives that best fit the green character! Year 1 also practised their handwriting using their own “Hemdean House Times” as part of their morning task. The children have really enjoyed writing about their news this week.
